The biggest running portal in Serbia – Trčanje.rs won the first prize on Web Fest 2009 in SPORT category. First round of voting last in October 2009, where we took 4. place. After that the jury (web designer, artists, people from online business) voted for their favourite, and we took 1. place with 26 votes. Second was website of football club Red Star, and third was oficiall website of tennis player Novak Djokovic.
I am very satisfied with this success. It took for us (me and my partner Igor Vujičić) six months to make first running community in Serbia. We invested lot of knowledge about website management, writing for web, social media advertising. We also organized offline events like group trainings on Ada Ciganlija in Belgrade…
Next step is to build NGO (non-governmental organization), because we have some nice ideas how to improve health in Serbia.
